About bookings
How do i pay?
You can pay by bank transfer, all major credit cards, debit card, or PayPal.
The first payment must be received at least 5 days prior to arrival.
For short-term stays, the full amount must be paid before arrival or at the latest upon check-in.
For long-term stays, the first month’s rent is due prior to arrival; each additional monthly payment is billed at the beginning of the respective month.
Do i have to pay a security deposit?
Yes, for all reservations of one month or longer, a security deposit of €1,000 is required.
For corporate bookings, we are happy to review whether a cost coverage agreement can be accepted as an alternative. Please contact us to discuss your options.
What is included in the price?
The price includes VAT, all utilities (including Wi-Fi), as well as regular basic cleaning with linen and towel change.
What are the general cancellation policies?
We offer flexible cancellation terms:
- Short-term stays (14–28 nights): Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
- Long-term stays (29+ nights / from 1 month): Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival
For cancellations after these deadlines, 100% of the rental price will be charged.
How can i cancel or modify my booking?
All changes, cancellations, or terminations must be made in writing.

If you made your booking through a third-party platform, please contact the respective provider directly.
What is the minimum and maximum length of stay?
Our serviced apartments can be booked for stays starting at 14 nights, up to a maximum of 6 months.
How will I receive an invoice for my stay?
It will be possible to mail I the day of departure or you can pick up until 11.00 a.m, in the penthouse.
Do you need a credit card to make a reservation?
To make a guaranteed reservation you would need to provide the number of a valid credit card. Not guaranteed reservation means the room is reserved for you up till 06.00 p.m. on the arrival day. Should you arrive later, we reserve the right to give the room to other guests.
Which credit cards are accepted at the midori?
We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express and EC-cash cards.
Is my booking secure?
Yes, your booking is absolutely secure – especially your credit card details and other personal data. We ensure this through a secure HTTPS server. All booking information is SSL-encrypted and processed in a protected environment. Payments and bookings are handled securely via our trusted partners HotelNetSolutions and Nexi.
How many apartments can I book at once?
It is possible to book up to 6 apartments at once. Should you be interested in booking more apartments, please contact us directly by phone or e-mail.
My company needs apartments on a regular basis. Are there special rates or benefits?
Yes, we offer special and tailored corporate rates.

Breakfast
Is breakfast offered?
Our apartments are self-catering accommodations. However, you're welcome to enjoy the breakfast service at the nearby midori guesthouse, located just a few meters away.
For long-term bookings, breakfast is available at a special rate of €14.50 per person and is paid directly at the hotel.
At what time is breakfast served?
Our buffet breakfast is served Mon-Fri from 6.30 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. and Sat, Sun and holidays from 07.00 a.m. - 10.30 a.m.
What food is offered at the breakfast?
We offer a healthy and versatile breakfast assortment with high-quality organic products from the region. For guests with little time we additionally have a quick and easy alternative: our innovative breakfast-to-go.
Facilities
What amenities does the apartment offer?
You'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. In addition to thoughtfully designed furnishings, all our apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cookware, a stove, coffee machine, and a refrigerator with freezer compartment, as well as a dishwasher and microwave*. Each apartment also includes a TV and a hairdryer.

Do the apartments at the midori have air-conditioning?
All our apartments have a year-round pleasant and fresh room climate thanks to our Passive House technology.
Can you open the windows in the apartments?
Certainly you can open the windows in all of our apartments at all times.
Are modifications to the apartment allowed?
Structural modifications are not permitted. This includes, for example, hanging pictures or making any alterations to the walls or fixtures. Shelves and storage space are available for your personal belongings.
Are there handicapped accessible apartments at the midori?
All our apartments are completely handicapped accessible.
Can i bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted in our apartments. However, in certain cases, exceptions may be made upon request and for an additional fee. If you wish to bring your pet, please contact us in advance so we can inform you about the conditions and availability.
Is the free Wi-Fi provided?
We provide free Wi-Fi access in all of the rooms, as well as in public areas.
Does midori have hypoallergenic bed linen, additional pillows and extra clothes hangers?
We at midori would gladly provide you with hypoallergenic bed linens, a large assortment of pillows as well as extra clothes hangers for your apartment (please, contact our reception in case you need it).
Are rollaway beds available?
Every room has the possibility of an added rollaway bed.
When will my apartment be cleaned?
Your apartment will be cleaned once a week, including a change of bed linen and towels. If you would like additional cleaning during your stay, we are happy to arrange this for you at an extra charge. Please contact the reception for details.
Am i allowed to smoke in the apartment?
All our apartments are non-smoking units. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.
Is there a mini-bar in the apartments?
No, midori does not have a mini-bar in the apartments. However, we offer you a large range of beverages in our panoramic Lounge.

Can i receive guests in my apartment?
Absolutely – you are welcome to have guests in your apartment.
If someone is staying overnight, please inform the reception in advance.
Can i get a confirmation of residence (Wohnungsgeberbescheinigung)?
If you’ve booked for at least one month, we can provide a confirmation of residence upon request.
Please let us know in advance if you need one so we can prepare it accordingly.
Can i receive mail and packages?
Yes, you can receive mail and parcels at your apartment.
Please always include our full address and add your name and apartment number (if available) to ensure correct delivery.
Is there a possibility to rent a bike in the midori?
To make a short trip to Heidelberg or other areas around midori, we offer 4 bicycles and 2 e-bikes. Please refer to our reception to get one. In case you have your own bike, you are welcome to use our bicycle rack in our parking garage free of charge.

What is a serviced apartment?
A serviced apartment is a comfortable, high-quality, fully furnished apartment that includes a kitchen. We provide everything you need to make you feel at home in your second residence. From a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine to hand and bath towels, cozy bed linens, and regular cleaning services – it’s all taken care of.
In times of remote work, our apartments offer the ideal environment to focus and be productive. A high-speed internet connection is, of course, included. And should you ever need assistance, we are always available via our emergency hotline.
What’s the difference compared to a hotel?
Serviced apartments combine the comfort of a private home with the convenience of hotel services. With a fully equipped kitchen ready for use, you enjoy greater flexibility and can prepare your favorite meals whenever you like.
Especially for long-term stays, our serviced apartments are significantly more cost-effective than a hotel, while offering greater comfort and space. Of course, you can also enjoy the benefits of our accommodations during shorter stays.
Is midori safe?
Our safety is our top priority. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, we can ensure that only midori residents and their guests have access to the apartment corridors.
To make sure you never miss a visitor or a delivery, each apartment is equipped with an intercom system.
Where can i park on site?
Each apartment includes access to either an outdoor parking space or an underground garage. You can request a parking space when making your booking. For further information, feel free to contact our reservations team at +49 6221 - 87 29 80 or info@midori-apartments.de.
Opening hours & check in/out
What are the arrival and departure times at the midori?
Our apartments are available for you starting from 3.00 p.m. on your arrival day and until 11.00 a.m. on your departure day. There is a possibility to prearrange an early check-in for a few rooms (upon availability). For a small extra charge, the room is freshly prepared for you from 12.00 p.m. already. In case you would like to pre-order the early check-in option, we kindly ask you to request it two days before arrival at the latest.
We charge 50% of the daily rate for a late departure until 3.00 p.m. A late departure after 3.00 p.m. is charged at 100% of the daily rate.
What are reception opening hours?
Our reception is open Monday till Friday 07.30 till 12.00 a.m., Saturday, Sunday and Holiday 08.00 p.m. till 12.00.a.m.. Alternatively, starting daily from 03.00 p.m. you can conduct the self check-in through the touchscreen at the Hotelomat even when the reception is closed. So it is ensured to check-in anytime 24hr/7days a week.
You have to conduct the self check-in through the touchscreen at the Hotelomat in the entrance area, which is open even late at night. The menu will then provide further instructions to receive your room keycard. Please pay attention that you will be charged at the automat. So please have a valid credit card (and don’t forget the Pin!) with you.
This does not apply to guests for whom we have to be paid in advance or who have already paid for their room in advance. You will also receive a small document for your stay. In case that there will be a problem with the check-in, a telephone number for emergency calls will be shown.
Is someone available outside office hours?
Our hotel manager, Mr. Mahle, is here to assist you with anything you may need. Regular office hours are from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Outside of these hours, an emergency contact number is available.
